I love tradition, but I also am always looking for something fresh and new to try each year. So I decided to put together a list of things I am loving this Holiday season. Enjoy!

thankful

we had a great Thanksgiving.

we have so much to be thankful for. i don't even know where to start.

i am thankful for everything.

the good days. the bad days.

the hard things and the easy things.

all of it.

i am thankful for all of it.

this life we are living. it. is. a. good. one.

i don't want to forget that. or take it for granted. it is so good.

i am thankful to have a husband who loves me.

three beautiful girls.

family. my amazing family.

and crazy awesome friends that are like family.

and mostly I am thankful for the steadfast love of my God. that he loves me and forgives me and wants to be with me no matter what. I am so thankful for His never ending presence in my life.

Callie-Dog!! How did you get in here?

this life is so good. i am thankful for every single bit of it.

hello monday.

hello feeling better. i felt a cold coming on early last week. i rested and fought it off the best i could. after feeling awful on wednesday i woke up thursday feeling pretty darn good......until thursday night when i went from ok to horrible in about 30 minutes. i was miserable. i stayed home friday and took a trip to urgent care. sinus infection and antibiotics for me. finally starting to feel better.

28 Hour Trip

A few weeks ago we took a little trip up North to visit and support our good friends, the Nosbischs. I have shared {here} and {here} how Jimmy (Matt) and his wife Erin were involved in a four wheeler accident and how much they mean to us. Since, that June day they have been fighting to recover. They are great fighters and are coming along quite well. It was great to be able to go be with them and show them how much we love them.

Jimmy is a Cyclone fan and Erin is a Hawkeye...we didn't want anyone to be confused as to which team we were cheering for! Jimmy appreciated that!

Our trip was short....28 hours to be exact.....but so so so worth it. We were able to talk with them, walk with them, share a few meals with them, and watch our children play together. It was just good for the soul. These days go by so quickly, we are so thankful for that day together with them.

Follow the Nosbischs on their journey {here}.

One, Two, Three.....

Maggie is now three months old!

I know. Three Months? How in the world did that happen?

I don't know! What I do know is these fast three months have been very sweet. Filled with lots of snuggling and loving and joy. Oh Miss Maggie how we all love you so!

And just for fun....

Two Weeks Vs. Three Months

Maggie at three months you....

*SMILE at EVERYONE! From your Momma and Daddy to a stranger at the store. Your smile is contagious and heart warming.
*Still sleep 7-8 hours at night.
*Like to be at home. You seem to get a little fussed up when you are not at home to following your normal nightly routine.
*Are starting to love tummy time.
*May be tiny but you are so strong!
*Are so close to rolling over! You can roll from tummy to back and are so so so close to rolling from back to tummy.
*Love, love, LOVE sucking on your hands. You do it like it is your job, well actually it is your job right now.
*Are a slobber monster! Your joy of sucking on your hands covers you in slobber.
*Would love to just suck your thumb!
*Have FOUR cousins younger than you!
*Are truly a gift from Above! We thank God for you every single day! Love you lots Maggie!!
