five for friday

#1 Maggie

#2 Olivia

#3 Sophia

#4 Gabe

#5 This won't be long...I can't type much...my arms are a little tired from holding all these babies!! Pretty good lucking crew we have here, huh!? Think of the crazy times we have ahead of us....it is going to be a fun ride! Maggie can never complain about not having enough cousins. She has twin cousins-Olivia and Sophia-on the Weesner side. And Gabe and baby girl cousin due late October on the Cronbaugh side. Feeling so blessed to have these new little people in our life. In complete awe. Thank you Jesus for healthy babies who continue to grow stronger every day. God is so so so so good!

Something About Maggie

Maggie is SEVEN weeks old today! Crazy huh?!!?!? We think so too! All that waiting for her to arrive, then she is here, and BAM she is seven weeks old!

So in honor of her seven weeks, I thought I would share seven things about our lil' bundle of joy!

1. At just seven weeks Maggie has plenty of nicknames.....Little Sister, Miss Maggie, Maggie V, Maggie Moo, Maggie Pie, Punkin, Honey Buns and Mags. Cece calls her Mags all.the.time! Her nickname however is not Sweetie. Tim called Maggie Sweetie early on and Cece said he couldn't call her sweetie. I asked why. Cece said because Daddy calls me Sweetie. Tim didn't realize how much he calls Cece Sweetie. We decided Honey Buns would work better for Maggie.

2. Maggie has a contagious smile. When she smiles she smiles with her whole body. She is at her absolute smiliest on her changing table after her diaper has been changed.....it's like a little thank you for doing the dirty work.

3. She is a pretty darn good sleeper (knock on wood....wouldn't want to jinx it:)). And noise doesn't bug her sleep...it actually helps. She has fallen asleep many times on the blanket in the living room with all sorts of action around her or in her bassinet while we are all in the room. However, once the noise leaves...she wakes up. A white noise machine is on the list of things to get Maggie!

4. Maggie is a pretty content and calm baby. That is until she wants something and then she doesn't have much patience at all! I am hungry, feed me now! Also Maggie does not like to be put in her carseart....like lots of crying. However, as soon as the car or stroller are moving she is a-ok. Silly girl!

5. One of my favorite things that Maggie does is when you are holding her as she wakes up. She arches her back and sticks her cute little bootie out. Oh how I love that!

6. Maggie has light blonde hair on the top and front of her head. In the back it is darker with a hint of red. Time will tell what color hair she ends up with! Her eyes are a beautiful shade of blue. We think she is just perfect!

7. Maggie is sooooo loved! Everyone loves on Maggie. Sometimes....maybe even a little too much love...if that is even possible. Could someone get too many hugs or too many kisses?

Wordless Wednesday: Sisters

I told her she had to sit on the back deck to have a popsicle. She stood right outside the door. Poor girl. :)

hello monday.......and a meal plan

hello relaxing weekend. our weekend started with fort building and a movie night on Friday and ended with a wonderful family dinner of grilled cheeseburgers last night. And there was plenty of relaxing in between. it was just perfect.

hello new tv. i feel like i talk about tv a lot here on the blog. but i don't actually watch that much tv....if we didn't have our dvr i probably wouldn't watch any. with that said tim and i do have a few shows we love to watch together. it is our thing. we dvr "our shows", get the kiddos to bed and then secretly watch "our shows" without the children around. ellie recently caught on to our plan and asked us about "our shows" just to make sure she wasn't missing out on something cool. i am pretty sure she thought it was some conspiracy to have fun without her...until she realized she wouldn't like "our shows" because they involve guns (her words).

hello clean closets. ok almost clean closets. i just need to go through cece's closet and then i am done....until maggie grows out of her clothes in about 6 weeks:) here is the scoop on our current clothes situation....and with three girls clothes are a situation! maggie has very little to wear right now because both of the big girls were wearing warmer weather clothes at her age. we have had to buy her a few new things! oh the shame! it totally killed me to buy her some new cute clothes:) between a few new things and hand me downs from ellie, cece has plenty to choose from. however her current fashion statement is all one color. so for example if she is wearing an orange shirt she also wants to wear orange pants. sometimes this works out ok....other times....well not so much. and ellie. well guess what? she went and grew....AGAIN! so none of her jeans from last year fit. ugh. why does she have to keep growing??

hello.....going back to school.....in a few weeks. i am not excited about going back to school. however, i do love my job. it is just a tough transition for me because i also love being home with the girls. we will survive and it will be just fine. my current battle is whether i should use the next few weeks to prepare for my return to school or if ishould just kick back and enjoy. so i am trying to do a few things to get ready, while trying to not overwork myself. because i know if i don't get a some things done they probably won't get done for months. i need to decide what is most important....

hello meal plan. thought it would be a good idea to get back into the routine of meal planning....and cooking again:)

monday: meatball subs
the plan for today is to make a triple batch of meatballs to eat a few now and freeze the rest for later.

tuesday: white chili

wednesday: dinner with friends

thursday: spaghetti

friday: fish tacos

Tina's Baby Shower

Two weeks ago we got together to celebrate Scott, Tina and Baby Boomba. Babies are a wonderful reason to get the family together to laugh, have fun and of course enjoy some yummy food. I think Baby Boomba is one very loved little girl!

Maggie and her cousin Mark. Mark is my cousin Jenny's little boy. Mark was born August 18th, just eight days after Maggie. I see a lot of fun times in their future!
