2012...you were so good!

2012 was a great year for our family.

a warm winter with just a bit of snow, a birthday for cece, a baby growing in my belly, and plenty of time spent relaxing.

spring brought fresh air and lots of playing outside, a mommy who felt a LOT better, it's a GIRL, and a mustache party for papa.

summer meant pool time, a birthday for ellie, a ginormous baby belly, hot soccer nights, a family wedding, and much awaited little sister.

things got a little witchy in the fall, back to school, more soccer and of course plenty of cheering for the cyclones.

we were so blessed in 2012. we are excited for all that 2013 has to offer!

Christmas Day

After we spent some time playing with our presents from Santa, we packed up the minivan and headed over to my parents. We started the day by celebrating Christmas with my mom's family.

We welcomed four new babies into our family in 2012!

After a little rest and time spent feeding babies, we headed to the basement to open presents with my family.

Cece wrote out the name tag on Nana's present.

Cece was excited to help Em open our present for Gabe...a dinosaur hat!

 Jean jackets and....

COWBOY Boots from Nana and Papa!!!

Ellie had fun working with Uncle Scott to put together her new Legos.

It was a very Merry Christmas! We feel so blessed to have such amazing family to celebrate with! God is so so so good to us!

Christmas at Our Home

Our Christmas tradition is to exchange a few gifts as a family on Christmas eve. And then wake up on Christmas morning to see if Santa brought presents and filled our stockings. This year we were blessed with an amazing Christmas. The girls didn't ask for much and really appreciated the great gifts they received!

Cece loved her puzzles from her sisters.

Ellie was excited about her new Where's Waldo Game.

And Maggie just wanted to eat her present!

We were all happy to give Daddy his present....a new. bigger electric skillet so he can make more pancakes at a time!

Christmas morning we awoke....at 4 am to find that Santa had found our house!! Then, we made the girls go back to bed to wait until 6:30. We are fairly certain Ellie went down to investigate the presents on her own without the rest of us! And as Cecilia said, "We must have been REALLY good this year!"

Santa brought us a family gift of a few new Wii games. Mario Kart has been a favorite of both Ellie and Daddy!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas with Tim's family on Christmas Eve Day at his parent's house. We opened presents straight away so the kiddos could spend the rest of the day playing with the hopes that us parents could relax...well at least a little bit.

With three wee ones and a troop of kiddos we decided to do Home Church on Christmas Eve. It was a really special time. Dave played the guitar and we sang some Christmas Hymns. Cheryl read the story of Jesus's birth and Dave explained to the kiddos. We all enjoyed our Home Church service. And no one had to get up and leave with a fussy baby. It was wonderful!!

The kids made some reindeer food...in hopes that it would help Santa and his Reindeer find our homes!!
