we celebrated Ellie's 9th birthday with a field day party. we played some pretty zany games. my favorite was the shoe kick and watching the 3 legged race was hilarious!
we kept the decorations pretty simple. of course that meant a little bunting and yes tim spray painted the yard. that is our start/finish line!

aside from all the silly games, handing out the ribbons was really fun. since it was a field day we made sure the kiddos went home with plenty of ribbons! tim did a great job annoucing all the awards and the kids were all such great sports!
