all God wants...

You. Me. Us.



that is it.

He just wants Us. as we are. right now.

He is knocking. just open the door. let Him in. and forever you will have life.

that is it. that is what He wants.

He will take it all the good, the bad, the ugly. He. does. not. care. about all that.

He wants You.

And He will walk beside You every step of the way.

As we make mistakes and sin. He will still be there. He will forgive and forgive and forgive.

that is how endless His love is.

we don't have to earn His love. He gives this gift freely.

"for it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves this is a gift from God" ephesians 2:8

a gift we likely don't deserve. but He gives it to us anyway.

a painful horrible death was His gift to us.

He died so we may have eternal life.

it is hard for me to wrap my mind around that. why would He do that.

the answer.

love.

His love is so great He would do anything for us. anything.

but the next step is ours. we must let Him in.

and when we do, it is oh so sweet.

"and so we are transfigured much like the messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him." 2 cor 3:18

i want that.

i want more of God in my life. brighter and more beautiful. like Him.

from the most painful sacrifice we receive a more beautiful life. an eternal life. forever.

that is all God wants.
