she is 95 years old. her body is just wearing down.
95.
you know when a baby is born and at first you say they are so many days old, then its weeks, then months, and finally years.
i think when you make it past 90 you should start to count by months, weeks, and days again.
34,857+ days. wow.
she has lived a long life. she has seen a lot. welcomed 5 children.18 grandchildren. a gazillion great grand children. birthdays. weddings. baptisms. lots of good, good stuff.
she made a mean grape and jello salad. had quite the sweet tooth. and had plenty of candy stashed away in her home.
she was a small lady. but oh so feisty. we spent time at her house during the summer and were only afraid of her getting angry if we broke something. and of course we never did anything bad at her house :)
she had a strong faith. she said the rosary. she prayed. i remember the winter she prayed my dad would shave his beard. :)
i went to see her with emily tuesday night.
she was very peaceful.
last night, plan as day, she told my uncle that she wanted to go dancing.
grandma you will be dancing in heaven with jesus soon.
