dear sweet jake.
you are just the most amazing little boy.
you fill our hearts and home with so much joy and happiness.
you go with the flow, love your family, and soak up all the attention you can get.
God certainly knew what He was doing when He placed you in our family.
you are the best boy.
jakey james at 11 months you.....
- smile at everyone.
- have survived some crazy christmas shopping trips.
- take two good naps.
- wear size 3 diapers.
- cruise around the furniture, walls, cabinets.
- have stood on your own for a few seconds.
- belly laugh.
- eat table food....and love it.
- have tried whole milk (and 2% chocolate milk whoops! you LOVED that!).
- have left the tree and presents alone.
- wear size 6-12 month and 12-18 month clothes.
- like to eat your socks.
- use a paci during the day....but suck your thumb during the night and at naps.
- can climb all the way to the top of our stairs.
- LOVE mickey mouse.
- are attached to your car blanky (momma learned this the hard way when she decided to wash it right before naptime. jake was not a happy boy).
- like to look around as we drive around in the van.
- have been army crawling for months....but just started to crawl up on your hands and knees.
- love to click your tongue.
- have 4 teeth with 2 more trying to pop through. you handled teething like a trooper.
- have been grinding your front teeth! eek!
- really enjoy eating pancakes.
- have started to say "dada" in the most sweet little voice.
- dump out the kid silverware drawer about 18 times a day.
- like to take baths.
- are so very loved.
