plans got messed up, there was grumpiness, people not feeling the best, and head lice.
yes, you read that right. head lice.
but even in all that messiness there were good things.
my mom coming to the rescue.
kind words from friends.
essential oils and natural remedies that did the trick.
sonic cheeseburgers.
forgiveness.
and a christmas concert.
even when life is....well....gross and overwhelming. God is still good.
cece and maggie performed. ellie has been helping out in maggie's room all year so she sat up front to help out if needed.
maggie did a great job singing her songs. pretty soon though we couldn't see her anymore. then we realized she had moved down a step and shorty was too short to be seen. however, she didn't stop there....
before we knew it she was in the front row.....
and with one song to go.....she was done.

I've been there with the lice thing. It's horrible. It's disgusting. It feels like it takes forever to go away. It is haunting. Thank goodness it passes. Here's to never having lice again (hopefully).
