lets run 2016...

2015 was a year of growth for our family.

we grew in numbers. we grew in size. we grew in knowledge. we grew in understanding. 

we grew in what it meant to be our family.

we will continue to grow. 

every year. 

growth will always be important. it was always be happening. 

but in 2016 i am ready for us to run. 

not run as in crazy/busy/hectic. 

but run as in blossom/flourish/thrive. 

for the past few years i have thought of a word....actually a few words that i mold into a saying. 

last year it was relax, enjoy, embrace.

these words were so comforting. especially as we moved through those first few weeks and months with newborn baby jake. and on as our little family grew into a big family. 

i have been thinking and praying about what i want for 2016. 

i want us to run.

and not all crazy like. 

i want us to run in kindness and in love and towards God. i don't want our running to be overwhelming or full of extra. i want it to be calm and not complicated. 

three words have came to me simple, love, thrive. 

keep it simple, be love, and thrive. 

that is what we are going for in 2016.
