ellie
- rocking middle school. i mean rocking it. she is confident, organized, kind, and hard working. she just finished the first semester with all As. we are so proud of her. she did it. she got her homework done, she studied for tests, she went in for retakes when she needed to. she did it.
- finished her basketball season a month or so ago. best game of the season was a 11 point and 9 rebound performance. girl is not afraid to shoot the ball. currently she is just about to finish up her volleyball season and it is crazy how much she has improved. so fun to watch the lefty put down a kill. she is a hradworker that girl. her team is coming along too. they have qualified for state which is a big deal for 6th graders.
- if you ask ellie what she wants to eat.....her answer will be mac n cheese.
- she makes egg in the middle all. the. time.
- hates being late.
- best big sister. always coming up with ways to entertain the kiddos. just the other night she had jake in a laundry basket and they were on a safari adventure. the littles are so lucky to have her.
- has feet the same size as her momma!
- struggles to find pants long enough.
- cheers for her cyclones.
- loves playing cards. like it is her favorite.
cecilia
- l.o.v.e.s. to read. she is our bookworm. she tends to be reading several books all at the same time.
- loves to do science experiments.
- wakes up a little slowly. but has yet to miss the bus....has a knack for being late to the bus when the bus is also late to the bus stop.
- likes playing games. doesn't like to lose.
- favorite foods are jimmy dean pancake and sausage sticks AND doritos.
- plays barbies and american girl dolls.
- is the best bathroom cleaner ever! cleans sinks, counters, mirrors, and toilets like a champ.
- does best with plenty of sleep.
- craves a lot of alone time with mom and dad.
- is a home body.
- has a creative mind.
maggie
- favorite drink is chocolate milk. favorite food chocolate milk. mags isn't a big eater. chocolate milk keeps her going.
- does a good job going to bed on her own at night.....after she plays a game of "i'll never let you go!"
- loves playing games...minnie candyland, uno moo, honey bee tree, and pop the pig are just a few of her favorites.
- loves yellow.
- still loves minnie mouse.
- likes to watching octanauts.
- everything comes to life in maggie's world. markers, nail polish bottles, spatulas, blocks, candy....anything and everything can become a person. girls got an imagination.
- wants to collect all the pigeon books.
- wears 24 month to 4T clothes.
- loves to go to daycare (sometimes gets sad on stay home days) and play with "my friends"
- still naps every afternoon.
- loves to help set the table.
- is becoming more and more independent. as in a few months or so ago she told me...."i put my shoes and coat on by myself at ashley's." my response was "oh really?!" i knew this was true. but with a baby brother in the house i didn't want to push her. it is a delicate balance. we had prioritized potty training and sleep. we knew those others things would come. and boom. it happened. girl has so much confidence. getting dressed. putting on her shoes. zipping up her coat.
