after we left the corn palace we headed west.
first stop the chamberlain bridge.
the badlands!
this walkway was VERY slippery. we had to skate along. so while jake is walking with a purpose in this picture. we couldn't let him keep walking. which made him super happy. :)
the big girls started to explore a bit. which freaked littlest sister out. she spent most of this time yelling at them to get back on the path and to not fall down the cliff all while clinging to me.

the badlands are truly a wonder. there was so much to explore and see. we would have loved to spend more time there. as we drove through the park both maggie and jake fell asleep. this allowed us to relax and enjoy it a bit more, but we also had to keep moving.
