was born Monday, February 4, 2008.
3 weeks early.
From the beginning Cecilia has kept us guessing. She was a laid back baby.....she just wanted to eat and sleep AND she was happy as long as her diaper was changed quickly. She seemed content to sit back and take the world in.
Then at age 1 things started changed....while she still loved to eat and sleep, she started to explore the world around her. And goodness gracious she explored. She loved to dump out the Tupperware cupboard or go through 500 Q.Tips one at a time.
Now her exploring has turn to thrill seeking! She loves to jump on the couch, ride down the driveway in her cozy coupe, or jump into our arms from anywhere.
Cece is growing into such a beautiful, amazing and fun little girl. Her giggles are simply contagious! Her hugs always include a pat on the back.Her stubbornness is frustrating....but I love it too! She is just Cecilia:)
We found out we were pregnant with Cecilia after our first year in Arizona. In many ways I feel like Cece saved us. Our first year there is just a cloudy memory of just trying to get by and hold it together. Cecilia coming into our lives reminded us that life goes on....we have to keep moving forward. And we moved forward in a pretty special way!
