hello....tuesday....

hello tuesday. i love that i am starting to lose track of the days....that must mean summer is treating me well.

hello quiet weekend. well sorta. the big girls went to spend a few days with nana and papa. so it was a date weekend for the hubs and i.....and maggie. we enjoyed ourselves. we had sonic shakes, we watched a couple movies, we had lunch, we did a little shopping with just one kiddo...which is almost like having no kiddos. almost. maggie even enjoyed her time being the only one. then tim went to work on monday and the house got quiet. real quiet. maggie and i missed the big girls. we missed their noise. we missed them. they are home today. we are happy to have them back. they didn't miss us much. and that is ok too.

hello toaster. last week i said finishing up our back to school shopping was on our to do list. well folks, we are all done. and it feels great. we picked up the final back to school item this weekend. a four toast toaster. in the morning our toaster is biz-zay! i mean it causes a bottleneck in our morning routine. so we added a few more lanes, breakfast traffic should move much more smoothly. what can i say...our girls like the toast.

hello national hot dog day. yep it sure is. make sure you have at least one hot dog today. you know it is on my meal plan!

 

hello leftover glowsticks in my freezer. someone told cece that you can freeze glowsticks to save their power. well she listened. and now there is a pile of glowsticks in my freezer. any guesses what would happen if i just threw them all away???

hello babies. we tried to get a picture of the all the kiddos at McKenna's baptism. and this is what we got.

i totally stole this picture from my sister. it might be one of my all time favorites. i think it foreshadows to the chaos that is yet to come.......

hello meal plan. here is our plan for the week. i found that the list worked so well last week that i am doing it again.
*sloppy joes. these are leftover from McKenna's baptism party last weekend. easy peasy.
*hot dogs. duh.
*pork chops and green beans.
*chicken salsa
*homemade pizza
