the girls played in our church soccer league again this summer. this is ellie's 4th summer of playing in this league. it very much a part of our summer.
both girls had a great time improving their skills and scoring goals.
ellie's team called themselves the golden schemers.
because they did a lot of scheming.
there was a lot of whispering as they set up plays, tried to exploit the other team's weaknesses, and did some occasional cherry picking.
they had fun.
and they were even more fun to watch.
miss maggie watched a lot of soccer.
every night she had to sit through two soccer games. she ate her dinner at the field (newsflash maggie....this is your life). most nights she handled it like an mvp and occasionally she let everyone know she was ready to go home.
one night she gave everyone a sermon.

cecilia played her second season of soccer.
she was a fireball. no really, that was her team name:)
she started out a little nervous and by the end was a soccer playing machine.
we are proud of all three girls.
next up softball.....
