you will just have to pretend there isn't food all over her pretty face.

16 months.
how did that happen?!?!
actually it has been just over 2 years since we found out we were expecting....so miss maggie has been a part of our lives for 2 whole years now.
its crazy.
it is hard to explain but she just makes our family better. oh we love her so. we can't imagine life without her. our family without her. she is so special to all of us.
she might be spoiled.
spoiled with love and attention.
and you know what....I think that is a-ok.
anyways....at 16 months she is nothing short of amazing. she is growing and changing everyday.
it is just so fun.
in honor of her 16 months I thought I would share 16 things about miss magpie.
so here goes....
1. maggie DOES NOT like to be left behind. instead she likes to "go-go!"
2. her favorite foods include apples, bananas, cheese, milk, eggs, pancakes and peanut butter toast. all of which she likes to feed herself.
3. she has learned to flip things over so she can climb on top of them. she has also learned to pile pillows so she can climb up on the couch.
4. maggie has several nicknames....mags, magpie, miss maggie, and sister.
5. sister has some crazy hair. I think there is curl in there.
6. miss maggie knows where the chocolate chips are stored.....smart girl.
7. maggie jabbers all the time. she loves talking on my phone and saying "hiiiiiiiii!" her words include....momma, daddee, hiiiii, leasseee, go-go, and el-ee. oh and she says "caaaaa" for cat and food and water and many other things. its her multi use word. she also signs please and all done. and nods her head and her whole body to say YES!
8. mags loves her blanky. she also loves cece's blanky. uh-oh.
9. maggie recently moved from her carrier to her big girl carseat. she sits up a little taller and still faces her entertainment...I mean her big sisters..in the back seat.
10. she has three front teeth on top and three front teeth on the bottom. she is also getting her 12 month molars.
11. sister still loves sleep. she naps morning and afternoon. she goes to bed around 8 and gets up around 6:30 on school days and a little later on the weekends.
12. maggie has a tender heart. she gives hugs and kisses, high fives and lots of smiles. lots of smiles! she knows her people and she loves on them.
13. magpie loves water. she is constantly drinking water out of my water glass.
14. at her 15 month check up sister was 19 pounds 7 ounces and 30 1/2 inches tall. she has little feet. she is our petite one. small but mighty.
15. mags loves to color. she has even colored on the walls a time or two. she always uses her left hand....so we might have another lefty in our house!
16. she copies her big sisters all the time. she loves them and they love her.
Maggie we are so blessed to have you in our lives. We love you sooooooo much.
