on Christmas Day after opening gifts at our house, we packed up and headed to the farm.
over the river and through the woods to Nana's house we go.....
we celebrate Christmas with my mom's family....Grandpa, my Aunt and Uncle and my cousins and their children. It makes for a full house.
Then in the evening we celebrate Christmas with my family.

the best part of opening presents (in my opinion) was when my big girls opened their gift from Nana and Papa....
they got American Girl Dolls. they had been talking about getting dolls since early fall and the dolls were #1 on their Christmas list . they had so hoped Santa would bring them. they were very excited and happy with their gifts from Santa Christmas morning. however both tim and I could sense their disappointment...though they never said a word. so while opening these gifts i thought they were going to come unglued. so excited. I mean I thought ellie's head might explode! it was so cute.
they are in love with Julie and Saige.
