dreaming big...

well.

i have something to share.

i have opened up my very own etsy shop.

my shop is called...drum roll please.....sillycyclone!

betcha didn't guess that. ha.

i have always enjoyed making things. and i have {almost} always liked the things i make. sometimes people would say to me that i should sell some of my creations. i would laugh. i mean that sounded like a great idea, but i didn't think anyone would really want to buy my things. sometimes i daydreamed about opening my own shop. i mean others have and have been very successful. i pushed this idea away....that won't happen to me. so i have been carrying this dream in my heart for some time now. i would think about it and push it aside again. the busyness of life would push it aside. for the last few months i have been praying about it. and then i read this blog post about dreaming big. i felt a nudge, ok actually a big push to do this. God knows my dreams. He knows the dreams i haven't even dreamed yet. and when the Big Man gives you a big push i think you otta listen. i am not sure where this will lead. heck, i am not even sure anyone will buy my creations. this whole thing could be a big flop. but i am going to give it a chance. and see where it might go. a complete leap of faith. what i do know for-certain-without-a-doubt is God has great big plans for me and my family. and i don't want to do anything to get in the way of those great big plans.

so here i am.

my shop just opened up this past weekend. i am starting with some sweet flower pillows. my mind is full of ideas for other items i could make to sell in my shop. i am taking it slow at the start to see how things go. i am saying my prayers and keepin my fingers crossed. i am kind of giddy about it.
