As much as fireworks, cookouts and parades are apart of the 4th of July....making hay always seems to slip in there too. The girls got to spend some time helping Papa make hay this afternoon.
Don't worry it wasn't all work and no play....
We had a cookout and saw fireworks with family.
Cecilia is not a fan of loud noises.....so fireworks are not her favorite! She spent the night with her blanky covering her ears, her hands over her ears, and later she added another blanket covering her entire body for a little extra protection:)
We went to the parade in our hometown.
And had a water balloon fight!
It was a good weekend!
