What a weekend! Seriously, couldn't have been any better! We were busy from beginning to end...a good busy! Ellie started our weekend off with a makeup softball game Friday night. She had a pretty good game, but was
a lot a little distracted by the other team singing in their dugout:) Saturday morning we got up really early and were in Ames to tailgate for the big game by 6:30 am. We cheered for our Cyclones for 4 hot hours and have the sunburns to prove it! We celebrated the big win by coming home and watching the game again (it was just as sweet the second time). Sunday morning Ellie sang with her "Kids of the Kingdom" music group for the first time! She did great! We took some very important naps Sunday afternoon, Ellie had softball practice and I got laundry washed, dried and folded! Oh and did I mention Ellie is the super detective of the week in her class...we got her poster all filled out and looking beautiful! We also gathered pictures and toys to take to share with her classmates. Phew!!! Wears me out thinking about it! It was a good weekend!
