Happy Birthday Miss Ellie Jo!

Honestly, I cannot believe our Ellie is 8 years old. Eight years ago we were just meeting this little person and had no idea the amazing adventure that was in store for us. Ellie made us parents and we have learned a lot from her...a lot about being parents, a lot of about ourselves, and a lot about having fun. We are so proud of the amazing little lady she is becoming.

A few things about Ellie at 8 years old....

• She has two types of laughs....one where she is laughing and one where she is really laughing. When she finds something really funny she totally cracks up and it is 100% contagious.
• Ellie has a pretty funny "What?!?!" expression where she shakes her head and holds out her hands with a complete puzzled look on her face.
• She is blossoming into her role of 'biggest' sister. She is doing more and more to help out around the house and Ellie takes extra time to help/play/read with Cece
• She is scared to death of needles and pulling teeth. She turns into a complete crazy person when either of these things have to happen.
• Ellie is very thoughtful. She thinks long and hard about things and asks pretty profound questions.
• She is developing an amazing Faith in God.
• Ellie L.O.V.E.S. the Cyclones!
• Ellie tries her hardest to make everyone happy....she loves to organize activities for Cece and the neighborhood kids.
• Ellie likes to write us notes. Thank you notes, Sorry notes, I love you notes.....she expresses her feelings well in writing.

Oh Ellie...we love you so! Not sure what we would do without your giggles and silliness every day. We are so blessed to have you as our daughter! Happy Golden Birthday JoJo!
