Ellie's First Grade Concert

Tonight was a big night at our house.....
Ellie's first school concert!

Here she is with 140 or so of her friends! All the First Graders at her Elementary School
Ellie did an AMAZING job! Honestly we couldn't hear her singing, but we could see her singing! And oh my she was into it. She was singing and booping and tapping her foot! We are so proud of her!
It was a really neat concert! The kids were really involved and you could tell they were having a great time. Each class got to demonstrate a dance or game. Ellie and her class danced to the song Bow Wow Wow!

WAY TO GO ELLIE JO!

However, we did learn a few things....
1. Ellie gets nervous! About 20 minutes before we needed to head to her school she was in complete melt down mode! She didn't think her outfit was ok....she actually said "we aren't supposed to wear blue!" That was my first clue she was falling apart! Next, her stomach hurt. Tim got her calmed down and she did fabulous. *sidenote Tim is an amazing calmer downer...really just amazing!
2. Ellie enjoys music! It was evident in her performance...she sang her heart out!
3. We need a camera with a better zoom. For two reasons...our current camera doesn't zoom well enough and we will probably never be in the front row where my camera would do fine.
4. Next time park in the neighborhood surrounding the school and walk in...that would take a lot less time! Heck walking from our house probably would take less time!
